Once you receive your Sugar Cookies, they should stay fresh in the packaging for at least 4-5 days. If you aren't quite ready to frost them within a day or two, you should place them in an airtight container and freeze the cookies. 

If you choose to freeze the cookies, take them out of the freezer a few hours before you are ready to decorate, and allow the cookies to reach room temperature.

You should store your buttercream in the fridge or freezer until you are ready to use it. Allow buttercream to reach room temperature before using. Whip with a spoon prior to using if you have refrigerated or frozen the buttercream.
